I've just caught the end of the old 'War of the Worlds' (Excellent film) but one thing that struck me...

Why is always women that get hysterical? And why do men find that attractive? If it was a life or death situation and a women went hysterical today she would most likely get a slap and left to fend for herself in a every man for himself scenario.

I think the question i'm asking is what happened to chivalry? Did it disappear when women became less like damsels in distress and more 'If I want it done right i'll do it myself'?

That makes me sad :(

Well two days in and I'm getting phantom heart pains from stress.

Why did I want to be a teacher? I'm getting to the point where I bloody hate kids - I most certainly do not want one of my own.

I'm also getting the feeling that people are frightened/intimidated by me...hmm maybe I need to work on my people skills.

Grrrrr.

Night out

My goodness last night was fun!

My friend M (Yes I use code names :D) finally visited me - first time I've seen him in a year, and we went out last night along with K and A.

Many embarrassing secrets told over too much alcohol from everybody, and as usual a drunken adventure!

I am still full of cold, I'm surprised I didn't just slip into a coma last night and not wake up with the amount of decongestants I consumed followed by booze.

Still deaf in my right ear and my voice has gone, I sound like I smoke 50 a day.

Whoop!

So I had my visit from uni today and had an observation with my Year 7 class.

And I got a 2!! Whoop!! (2 Means good :) )

Then I had the class for a second time later in the day and it was like Mr Hyde had take over! That or I was stuck in the middle of the Jeremy Kyle show!

They made my Migraine worse - and the pretty pink pills are not working :(

I need a holiday.

A good moan

Grr - I sometimes need reminding why on earth i've decided teaching is the career for me!

Having 12 year old girls screaming insults about each others mothers like an episode of Jeremy Kyle show is not my idea of a productive maths lesson! Especially when said pupils cannot do their times tables and need to pay attention to the lesson....

I also feel sick, lol
